Conquering 17 travel fears (Part 3)

Even though traveling is something almost everybody lists as one of their long-life wishes, there are still people who won’t do it because of their travel fears.
Are you still thinking about traveling and not doing anything about it?
Maybe you’ve dreamed of traveling for the longest time, but you fill your mind up with excuses and you never seem to just do it.
Back in 2003 I was looking for information about traveling to Egypt and I stumbled upon an intriguing website that announced the winners of the contest for the design of the new Grand Egyptian Museum.
Well, I had no idea there were plans to build a new museum in Cairo! Didn’t they have a gorgeous pink Victorian building as the home of the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities?
One of the main questions I get asked when people are wondering how to plan a trip is what attractions should they visit considering their tastes, interests and the time they have available.
It seems that in whichever way you start to research a place to visit —especially a big city like Paris or Shanghai for example— be it a guide book, a book at the local library, a person who’s already visited the city or Google, the task is a daunting one.
I’ve spoken before about how cultural travel enriches your life and creates a better world, and we can’t do so if we’re not already going green in our thinking and behavior.
Going green when we travel is now a must if we want to preserve the treasures of our planet for future generations.
Going green refers to all eco-friendly or environmentally friendly activities. In other words, all activities related to preserving the planet and its natural environments.
