Want to go on a cultural travel that reflects your particular interests, that fills you up with new knowledge and experiences, one that may have the potential to completely shift your perceptions about the world and your outlook on life?
I do truly believe that some journeys can have such a profound impact in our lives, that you become a better person, you realize that your connection to other people is indeed much stronger that you’d thought, even if they’re on the other side of the planet.
I adore traveling. I am so passionate about it, that some people look at me with bewildered expressions when I show them the lengths I’ll go to, to plan a trip. I am also passionate about knowledge, history, art and science and these are things that I always aim at experiencing during my travels.
I am all about bringing my own nerdy interests into the cultural travel plans I make, spending as much time as I feel is needed in each place for me to make sense of it.
Oh, but travel agencies were a letdown…
When I first started traveling the first thing I’d do was to contact a travel agency. Soon I found that they sell packages that involve being herded like a sheep with 40 other people, doing 9 countries in 12 days, rushing from one place to another, barely taking in any of the culture, the people or the events that have occurred there in the past and that shape their present.
This was not going to cut it. I wanted my cultural travel to be meaningful…
To inform me as well as entertain me, and so I started planning my trips with as much detail as I could, not to miss any critical aspect of the site’s historical and cultural importance.
I’ve used many resources over the years and the intention of this website is to provide you with the tools, travel tips, site recommendations and curiosities of not-to-miss spots in each city that will make your travel that much more memorable.
I will also provide you with techniques and tips to plan your own trip, according to your tastes and interests, so that you can make the most of it saving valuable time and money.
If you’re like me and want some relevant, easy to digest and use information for your cultural travel, join me in this wonderful adventure and let’s all share our tips and knowledge to discover the world!
